Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Operate a point-of-sale system and handle cash and credit transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer complaints
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery
- Follow restaurant policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager or Supervisor.
Requirements:
- Previous waiting experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions
- Ability to stand for long periods and move quickly and efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is a plus.
